An interesting variation on the gin fizz
Servings: 1 cocktail
Equipment
- shaker
- jigger
- highball glass
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz gin
- 1 oz heavy cream
- 0.5 oz lemon juice (in a pinch, can be substituted with more lemon juice)
- 0.5 oz lime juice (in a pinch, can be substituted with more lemon juice)
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 1 egg white
- 3 dashes orange flower water (in a pinch, can be substituted with cointreau or triple sec)
- 2 drops vanilla extract (can be optional)
- 4 oz soda water
Instructions
- Aside from soda water, put all ingredients in shaker and shake vigorously for 2 minutes without ice (dry shake)
- Add ice to shaker and shake for another minute
- Strain into highball glass
- Pour soda water into the shaker, to get more egg white and cream out
- Strain into highball glass until full
