Simple, fresh, and garlicky.

Equipment
- a large skillet
- a wooden spoon or whatever to stir
- cheese grater
Ingredients
- 4 oz butter (1 stick)
- 3 oz Parmesan cheese (about 2 cups)
- 1-½ cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Grate the Parmesan cheese3 oz Parmesan cheese
- Put the butter and heavy cream in the skillet4 oz butter, 1-½ cup heavy whipping cream
- Over medium heat, let the butter melt and bring the liquid mixture to a simmer
- Turn heat to low and simmer for 2 minutes
- Stir in the garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper2 tsp minced garlic, ½ tsp Italian seasoning, ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp pepper
- Keep stirring for about a minute
- Stir in the grated Parmesan3 oz Parmesan cheese
- Keep stirring until it's melted in
- Pour the mixture on top of pasta
