Grate the Parmesan cheese
3 oz Parmesan cheese
Put the butter and heavy cream in the skillet
4 oz butter, 1-½ cup heavy whipping cream
Over medium heat, let the butter melt and bring the liquid mixture to a simmer
Turn heat to low and simmer for 2 minutes
Stir in the garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper
2 tsp minced garlic, ½ tsp Italian seasoning, ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp pepper
Keep stirring for about a minute
Stir in the grated Parmesan
3 oz Parmesan cheese
Keep stirring until it's melted in
Pour the mixture on top of pasta
