The stuff from an egg roll, but in a bowl

Equipment
- 1 quite a large saucepan
- 1 wooden spoon
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground meat (turkey, pork, beef all work)
- 14 oz coleslaw vegetable mix (or just shredded cabbage)
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1 green onion
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp sriracha
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 garlic clove (or 1 tsp minced garlic)
Instructions
Prep
- Mince the garlic clove. You should have about 1 tsp minced garlic after.1 garlic clove
- Turn a stove top on medium and put the skillet on it to heat up a bit
- Slice the green onion. It should yield about 2 tbsp.
Cook
- Add the beef and cook until it's no longer pink1 lb ground meat
- Add the minced garlic and stir it around with the wooden spoon for 30 seconds
- Stir in the cabbage, soy sauce, and ginger14 oz coleslaw vegetable mix, ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce, 1 tsp ground ginger
- Cook until the cabbage is as soft as you want it. Add a little water if need be.
- Turn the stove top heat down to low
- Make a hole in the middle of the skillet and crack the egg into it1 egg
- Let it cook a bit and scramble it with the wooden spoon
- Stir in the sriracha2 tsp sriracha
- Drizzle the sesame oil on top1 tbsp sesame oil
- Add the sliced green onion1 green onion
- Transfer to one or more bowls and serve
