A gin version of the Sidecar
Servings: 1 cocktail
Equipment
- jigger
- shaker
- coupe cocktail glass (or martini glass)
Ingredients
- 3 oz gin
- ¾ oz Cointreau (or other orange liqueur or triple sec)
- ¾ oz lemon juice
- ½ oz grenadine
- 1 egg white
Instructions
- (optionally) sugar the rim of the glass
- Put ice into the shaker
- Pour all the ingredients in over the ice3 oz gin, ¾ oz Cointreau, ¾ oz lemon juice, ½ oz grenadine, 1 egg white
- Shake well for about a minute, to get the egg white frothy
- Strain out into the couple cocktail glass
