A classic champagne cocktail
Servings: 1 cocktail
Equipment
- jigger
- shaker
- champagne flute (or coupe cocktail glass)
Ingredients
- 2 fl oz champagne
- 1-½ fl oz gin
- ¾ fl oz lemon juice
- ¾ fl oz simple syrup
Instructions
- Optionally wet and then freeze the flute or glass at least an hour ahead of time
- Put ice in shaker
- Aside from the champagne, pour all ingredients in shaker and shake well until chilled1-½ fl oz gin, ¾ fl oz lemon juice, ¾ fl oz simple syrup
- Strain into cocktail glass
- Top off with the champagne2 fl oz champagne
- Stir gently
