  • rocks cocktail glass

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz crème de violette (not easy to find, but get Tempus Fugit if you can)
  • 2 rounds of lemon (meaning, slices; or about 1/2 oz lemon juice)
  • 4 Luxardo cherries (Luxardo, specifically; or about 1/2 oz Maraschino Liqueur)

Instructions

  • Put ice into the rocks glass
  • Put ice into the shaker
  • Pour in the gin and crème de violette
    2 oz gin, 1 oz crème de violette
  • Put the 4 Luxardo cherries in
    4 Luxardo cherries
  • Squeeze the juice from the 2 lemon rounds into the shaker
    2 rounds of lemon
  • Shake well
  • Strain cocktail into rocks glass
  • Garnish with more cherries on a stick

Notes

The Aviation has the same ingredients, but less gin, less crème de violette, and Maraschino Liqueur instead of cherries.
